Completion of Summer League 2023

Wednesday 6th September saw the completion of our inaugural Summer League competition. Thanks to all the teams for their enthusiasm and participation throughout the summer - leading to it being a resounding success. The league was initially implemented as a testing ground for new rules - and we did more than with forming a new competition to fill the gap between 'regular' winter seasons.

Congratulations are due to Pool Shack - winners of the league with only one loss through the season.

Going into the final night, there were mathematically three teams still in the running - but an early run of frames for Pool Shack put it out of reach of the chasing pack. Worthy winners in the end!

Also - congratulations to Connor Tracy of Imperial for winning the individual most frame wins award. This was another competition with a few people still vying for the win on the final night. However, 3 frames from 3 on the night guaranteed this award for Connor.

Trophies will be awarded to the competition winners later in the year.

For now - everyone can have a month off before we return to action in October for the Winter League.
