London City Pool League AGM 2024

The League’s AGM for 2024 will be held at Hurricane Room Kings Cross on Wednesday 28th August at 6:30pm.

All teams intending to enter our Winter League 2024/2025 should have representation at the meeting in order for them to have their say on the various changes and proposals that are put to a vote. We will consider changes to the rules for the upcoming Winter League season; as well as the League’s Constitution.

Any member of the league wishing to propose motions or individuals for committee positions should send these to the League Secretary via the following form: (https://forms.gle/cmGGvNS9MTH1ZeV59) by Sunday 18th August. Agenda and nominations will then be shared with all captains for discussion among their team.

All Committee positions are up for re-election. The responsibilities for each of these can be found in the League’s constitution. Interested people can also speak with any of the current Committee to understand more.

Omeed Starmer (Secretary) can be contacted privately by anyone who wishes to propose a motion for the AGM agenda for advice to ensure the motion is acceptable. All suggestions should list the clause(s) of the rules or constitution that they wish to change (e.g. 1.1(a)), and the exact proposed new wording.

Motions must have a proposer and a seconder (from another team) in order to be considered.

Please arrive in good time before 6:30pm. The AGM will be in advance of the Semi Finals/Final of the Summer League competition, starting at 7:30pm
